By accessing and using countycottagebuilds.ca ("the Site"), operated by Ontario Lead Networks doing business as County Cottage Builds, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.

2. What This Service Is

County Cottage Builds is an independent referral service that connects Prince Edward County homeowners with vetted general contractors for renovation, restoration, custom build and outdoor living projects. We provide information about construction and renovation topics and facilitate introductions between homeowners and service providers. We do not directly provide construction, renovation, design, or trade services.

3. Referral Disclosure

County Cottage Builds is an independent referral service operated by Ontario Lead Networks. We may receive compensation (referral fees) when you are connected with a service provider through our Site and that connection results in a completed transaction. This compensation does not increase the cost of services to you. Our recommendations are based on provider qualifications and service area coverage.

4. No Contractor Relationship

Any contract for construction or renovation work is between you and the contractor directly. We are not a party to it. We do not supervise, employ or control referred contractors, and we do not guarantee their work, pricing, scheduling or availability.

5. Accuracy of Information

Content on this Site is provided for general information only. Building code requirements, permit processes, municipal approvals and program eligibility change and vary by property. Nothing here is legal, engineering or regulatory advice. Confirm anything that matters to your project with your municipality and your contractor before relying on it.

6. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information in the quote form, to use the Site only for lawful purposes, and to independently verify a contractor's licensing, insurance and references before engaging them.
